2009 Pirates

I must admit I was shocked when the Pirates rally to open the 2009 season with a 6-4 win at St. Louis. I had Jack Wilson pegged for a strikeout when he hammered a bases-clearing double to left center. It's only one of 162 games but for a franchise that hasn't won anything since Barry Bonds had a normal body, it's a great way to start the season. We'll take it.
